I'm sure a solicitor would be able to sort some sort of agreed contract out for you.

its only goodwill

if it feels dodgy, then walk away

i have allways worked the round once with the existing guy, it means 1/2 the rouns worth earnt by you, but collected by him, thus that money off the bill

also you get to meet a fair few customers and get introduced

If I was going to buy any round I would like to meet all the customers first with him and tell them I am going to be your new window cleaner.

Hi all
I think meeting all the new home owners is a good idea and may be work with the round owner, at least i would get to see what his work is like.

Regards

I have bought two rounds so far. The first I took on the staff that worked it so no issues with customers or pouching back.
The second more recently I paid half upfrom and the remainder once the the guy had showed us round and introduced us to the customers.

I also normally sign and agreement with them as well.
