I just got a Grace machine to replace my Steameasy, i am finding the suction from the hand tool is great but its poor from the wand (Same as steameasy)
I know part of this is down to the hand tool being smaller but how can i improve the suction from the wand?
Any ideas would be great..

A good quality, new, smooth bore hose makes a tremendous difference. Check there's no blockages in the wand. Don't judge the wand by "the feel" on your hand, but by the performance on the carpet. Being a new wand, it may require a different technique/posture.
Safe and happy wanding :)

Dave I had a Grace 5020 years ago and it was a great machine to use especially if you put an inline heater on it.
If they have not changed the spec it should have 2 x 3 stage vacs which is similar to most portys out there.
If you are using the wand that comes with the kit which If I remember rightly splits in half, then these wands are not much good and it may be worth while investing in a decent wand, then just practice yor wand technique.

The smooth bore, or should I say smoother bore, hoses have a lining inside which is much more efficient than the old fashioned ones which would contract by a few feet when under load.
Last year, although I had an elderly decent smoothish bore hose on my Alltec Pro Plus, I bought an extra 7.5 mtrs of new hose from the little Piskey in Cornwall, the difference was quite noticeable.
The same goes for the solution line. I changed the elderly 300psi rated hose for a new 3000psi rated. In use, my guage showed an increase of 10psi
Safe and happy cleaning :)

Thats what happens when you use pre war solution hoses and lines ;D ;D bet you had to start your machine with a handle too :D

Watch what you're saying you young whipper snapper, those leather wound hose can last a lifetime ::)
And my machine doesn't have a starting handle, you cheeky young little chappie. Mind you, the kick starter does bite back sometimes. The last time I saw the Mother-in-Law she was Lunar Bound. Haven't seen or heard from her since that day ;)
Safe and happy cleaning :)

The Grace splits in 2, can i disconnect the power lead so i can carry it seperatly or does this need to stay connected?
