I wouldn't say I love Ettore, there's plenty of other good stuff about.
Definately the finest quality Squeegees though, and the fastest rubbers.

I have about 5 different makes of bits and bobs.(including Unger)

I just don't rate that European plastic rubbish. :(

I have Unger squeegees, t bars and applicators and one 18 inch Ettore squeegee but use Pulex rubber at the minute. Unger BOAB and extension pole as well with Unger microfibre.
Dont know if it is the best but it works for me.

I've got unger squeegee, applicator, micro fibre clothe and bucket on a belt. I think the bucket on a belt is great as its the only one with a scraper bit on the side but the squeegee has got a clip to hold the rubber in the channel and this has started rusting after about a month. My other squeegee I bought about 3 years ago now and it still looks fairly new.

My opinion would be to mix and match to find whats best really.

I personally like unger equipment but each supplier has something better than the other, the next set of pockets i get will be the winspray black pockets.  I find the best place to get any window cleaning equipment from is
www.windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk (http://www.windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk)

I have been in business for over 25 years. :o  I like Unger squeegees best because of the angle. I have tried all kinds.

Ettore is great for the rubbers although Unger is fine also. But having tried both brands for squeegees I chose Unger  by far.

Did not like sorbo brand anything.

It is all in the angle. What does Terry Burrows use?    :)

Hugs,

Texas Girl :-*

Trouble with Pulex rubbers, is that although they don't slice up and leave lines like Unger, they don't last a couple of days before they're rounded on the edges and "blunt" along the middle.
Then they don't glide and leave smeary turns. :(

I've tested loads and found Ettore are the fastest, smoothest glide.
Unger are long lasting as long as they don't get cut.
Pulex don't cut easily.
Syr are ok at everything.

So I've been using Pulex purely because they don't cut up easily, and they're cheaper than Ettore.
They still annoy me with their uselessness after 20 houses.
Used to get a couple of weeks out of Unger years ago.
So Pulex it is, sadly.
Best of a bad bunch I suppose...

I'm glad I'm going mostly WFP, because they quality of rubbers these days is miles off what it used to be.

I think Ettore is best for rubber.

Don`t you think it`s worth the extra for Ettore rubber Squeaky?

Unger Monsoon is my preferred applicator sleeve.

Try the unger microfibre covers, they seem to clean better and work better with the low foam liquids.

Hmmmm...maybe. ???
They cut up a bit easier than Pulex, due them being super soft.

I wish someone could make a super soft long lasting rubber.
(Other than Durex.)

I`ve tried the m/fbre sleeves and they work well when really wet. That`s why they are good with low foaming solutions. Your sleeve needs to be soaked when using these soaps.

But I don`t like being tied to the bucket too much, so the long Monsoon fibres stay wetter longer and allow you a few more scrubs before refreshing it.

I have always used unger, and found it to be very good. I also use an ettore backflip accassionally on a pole and find that very good also, much better than the unger version (vise versa). As for the trolley, I started off with an omni trolley which was ok, but working with a trolley is slow and it is a pain getting it in and out of the van all the time, I now use a van mount and a back pack which is much better.
