Title: GOOSENECK
Post by: geefree on March 25, 2007, 01:35:31 pm
hI all.

Does anyone know of a company that will supply a standard 45 degree gooseneck, ?

the only ones i can find are the "S"  shaped ones... that dont fit in pole carriers...( maybe its not a gooseneck im looking for)..

At the moment i only have an angle adaptor and with it being a wide plastic i cannot cut a hole that deep in the tube/pole carrier and it still wouldnt fit.

Any ideas please ?

Gary

Are you talking about the tube carrier on the roof of your van?

Varitech, can't remember the number though.  They do a 90degree gooseneck £77.32 + VAT including a Vikan brush.

B&Q sell a "aerial mast pole cranked" 6ftx1" 18g. Its near all the aerial bits. Its a "N ish " shape, cut in half gives you two of different lengths for approx  £8 pop on a brush and put it on your pole.

I have a Gardiners gooseneck and have cut a slot in my pipe - fits a treat could even screw the cap back on if I had one.

it will work as i do it myself, mostley to swivel the brush but sometimes just to add a wee bit of length to the neck. ;)
