Hi Andy,
one of the cheapest ways to produce a lot of water is with the Merlin and a good size DI vessel that will hold a full bag of 25L resin
then link a couple of IBC tanks together,

Ask PJ he seems to have one of the fastest RO membranes and can fill up in minutes through the mains.
I am sure he will comment

When you say mains? this is still got to be looked at, it will probably come of a domestic supply and not the mains supply?
Andy
PJ If you read this, what RO do you have?

Off domestic outside tap/non return valve into 1/2 hose into booster pump into 2x10" prefilters into 40x40 RO into 13litre DI = Purified water approx 350 litres per hour.
At the right time of day producing purified water at approx

Well, Do you wannna know? At best: 400 l per hour. I'm about to turn up my mains in supply. So should work better.
My TDS mains in is 365!!!! Mains in =70 psi into RO.
I can't be bothered with static tanks in my garage or garden. Just fill straight in to van tank. 500 litres converted in about hour and half in the evening, while I'm tidying up. switch off, all done, fresh as a daisy! ;D
Very space saving. Fill 1,000 litre straight in the van in 3 hours. Good if you're stuck for space and don't need to store any water.

Hi andy been decorating the flat ready for moving out :-\
Give me a call anytime i'll ring my mate that has the tanks in the morning ;)

I would like to run the transfer hose to the garage door and when I turn up, to fill up I would like to connect that part of the hose to the same type of transfer hose I have in the van!
Whats the best type of quick release connections can you recommend to do this (1/4" Delivery hose for submersible pumps 20 metre length)
Your help is much needed as need to get this order for the weekend as need to purify for next Monday
Andy
PS has to be done this way just because of the way the garage is set up

is there something special about a 40/40 r/o as we have ours running from the mains into a booster pump(one supplied by ro-man) into pre filters and a DI vessel but cant get anywhere near that level of production
-
YES its the pump! this was my old system with a very high pressured pump (1000lts every hour and forty Min's)

I'm sure gardiners do a 40/40 for around £500 -£600.
007 does you mate have ibc on a regular basis, if so will need one in a few weeks time still waiting for a date to move down your way (prob about 23rd) now
