Hi,
We've got a job to quote on for a well known supermarket, to strip/seal/polish vinyl flooring throughout cafeteria area approx dimensions 18m x 8 m (144m2)
Although we do a small amount of vinyl floor work I'm not booked on a course with Amtech until the end of the month, so my confidence on a large job like this is not great.
Any ideas on price, floor is pretty grubby/discoloured? It will have to be done during the night too.
Cheers,
Huw.

hi there
have you seen this floor??
if its in a staff restaurant area, it may be a non slip floor
also are the tables fixed to the floor, or movable, cause if there fixed to the floor, you may well find dirt build up at the feet edges.
regards
martin

hi,
Thanks for the reply martin, the restaurant is for customers, to be honest I didn't check to see if the tables were removable. I was hoping they were or it's going to be a pain. I'll have to pop back and double check, I was in a rush on my first visit.
Cheers,
Huw

You have to ask yourself why the in house cleaners are not doing it. Most supermarkets with this size of customer cafe have large cleaning staffs, machines and budgets. They tend to have other stores nearby so expertise can be shared. Go back have a sit down with a coffee and look for the reason they have asked you. If you decide to go ahead then good look.

Cheers Will, to be honest it's sat in the office and we haven't used it yet. Thanks for the offer of help though. I've put my quote in, i'll wait to see if we're successful or not.
Cheers,
Huw.
