HI.
Falling from a ladder whilst he was cleaning the windows at the offices of the Royal Exchange Insurance Co., King Street, Manchester , on Friday last, Edward Jelly (55), of Hamilton Street, Collyhurst alighted on his head fracturing his skull and receiving injuries which led to his death at the Crumpsall Institution some hours later.
At an inquest today it was stated that Jelly had apparently placed his ladder upon a box, and the box seemed to have slipped. The coroner returned a verdict of "accidental death".
