Dennis

I would love to reply to the poll, but this person has a personal problem with me and has yet to quantify it, I have yet to see any constructive question/reply apart from polls. :( :(

If this is inflammatory please delete! Walk the walk and not talk the talk

Dunny I feel that   you are victimising Paul Chambers.
As your poll starts at 1000 could you please amend it,   to start from                                                 2x20p off coupons and some old jam jars lol  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Could you please amend the poll figure.

I pull more than that each month.

Then there is my 'legitimate books'.  :-X

Which is a heck of a lot more.

Cheers,

Shorty.

Hey Shorty,

Just for you upside downers, you need to increase those figures by almost 150%. Aus Dollars are soooo cheap up here ;)

What's more, you pay a lot less for your beef, but we pay a lot less for chicken  ::)

Safe and happy earning:)

Define  "earn"

Ford Motor Company did $164 billions in revenue but netted zero in profit, only made profit in Financial dept.

Made me feel like a business genius !!

Nice one Harry.

I go with the Mike Halliday school on turnover. It means jack schhhh.

It's profit that counts, but even that's not strictly true. My next door neighbours are 2 young professionals earning loadsa dosh. Their house is identical to mine, but their mortgage is considerably more than £1k per month. Mine's just gone up to £111.03p. So I don't need anywhere near the income to maintain a given lifestyle. What I'm trying to say is we all have different circumstances and different needs. Our turnover, net profit and domestic outgoings are all different. Any figures that anyone produces for turnover or net profit would have little relevance to most others here.

Safe and happy accounting:)
Ken

Last year when i spoke to my accountant he informed me that a self employed person using a vehicle and travelling within 5 miles of base taking into consideration time fuel wear and tear insurance tax costs £28 per trip this is often hidden because vehicle is used for other things, picking kids up shopping ,you may lose a fuel receipt etc

Turnover is vanity
Profit is sanity
Cash is reality (and you can only spend it once  ;) )
