I write a too do list every week with targets..amount of leaflets i will deliver etc..i do 2000 a week which i regard as my part time job! I never stay at home all day if i havent got work and if i do im writing letters or doing accounts etc. as for motivation remind yourself every morning why you became self employed..freedom,money etc. I always remind myself about the car ive promised myself next year!!  I also have aims such as trying to get so much work i need to take someone on etc. The look on my girlfriends face when she comes in from her 9 to 5 is also enough to remind me why i do it!

Sorry your a bit quiet at the moment George, but I'm reluctant to " offer advice "as I apparently give bad advice, maybe on of the high earners will help out by divulging some of their marketing secrets.

While you wait..................have you done a leather course...............do you clean hard surfaces.......do you clean acoustic tiles.................

Tell you what, George.

If you want to know how I cleared £2000 a week ( in my pocket ) twenty years ago, send me an e'mail and I'll call you back within a couple of days.

Hi

george

You do what you have to do to survive.

End of chat.

I have worked full time, been full time self employed, with a full time family, doing 27 hours a day sometimes, but I will make that scarifice to get ahead if thats what it takes.

You know your situation, no one else has to live it, has your debts or knows your life, do what it takes and above all... succeed.

Hi
I would wake up, work on the business until about 6, home for an hour and then off to work for 10 hours at a full time night job (finishing about 5am) then off to do a golf club. and then sleeping for 4 hours to go and do it all again

It was absolute insanity, but when you are actually doing it, you just get on with it, only realising when you start to fall asleep at traffic lights it may be too much, or almost collapsing at work.

Now part time at the job (extra bunce) and actually have time for myself... amazing!

I think i`m doing something wrong, when I worked for others I sat around all day doing as little as possible working for my 40 hours a week and not an extra minute, I went home and forgot about work altogether, If I woke up and didn`t want to go to work i`d phone in sick, If my company car broke down or needed servicing it wasn`t my worry, blah blah blah

Now i`m self employed, I work every hour, I never think of anything except the business, i`ve not had a holiday for 3 yrs, servicing and general vehicle maintenance is costing a bomb,  AND I HAVE TO PAY FOR MY OWN FUEL.

I love being self employed, its great ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
