I think it looks a bit like a Freedom Trolley, only that a Freedom costs 1000 quid, and I bet yours was under 200 spondoolies.
Well done, mate, but how you stop the barrel from falling off?
-
This is mine. Been in constant use for 18 months, and is designed for my round.
Twin pole carriers make the job a lot easier, as does the 25meters of microbore on the reel. Can carry 50 litres if required.
The hose reel is only clamped on. I used a piece of aluminium angle. cut it to the width of your reel, two pieces same lengh. Drill through both pieces together. One piece goes each side of your trolley and you bolt them together. You can then put a piece of alloy plate on top of the angle, again with bolts. And mount your reel onto that. Dai

Total cost so far :-
trolley-£13.00 from b&q
battery box with 40 psi pump-£130 + vat from wintecs
hose and connectors-£10 from b&q
steel + welding-free
water containers-free
TOTAL-£173
just using bungee to hold container on at moment, may weld a metal strap on later.

The trolley is aluminium. I only push it to the front of the house, the hose reel is a big plus.
It's like having a van mount without the parking problems. I manage with it fine and I'm due my pension in September,+ we have a hell of a lot of hills here in Wales.
Put 50 kgs on a sack truck, it isn't heavy. Dai

nice work. where did you get the box on the bottom, and is the pump and battery together in the box ?
