Title: Fitted Indian Carpet
Post by: mark_roberts on August 19, 2004, 07:27:00 pm
Was in a lovely big house today where the owner had a fitted Indian woven carpet.  Room size approx 21x14ft.  Its cream and has the same woven backing as Indian rugs.  Very thick pile about 1inch or more thick and is glued to the gripper rods which are nailed to the floor.  No real soiling apart from four water stains around the base of the pipes of the radiators.

As Ive never seen one of these fitted before are there any problems to watch out for.

It cost several thousand so I'm told.

thanks
Mark

Mark, Hiya
LESS IS MORE 8)
Light microsplitters, light agitation and light rinse ::)
May get watermarks off but on light carpet, i would suggest Oxidisers to client and explain the implications fully. Use blowers to dry as soon as poss.
