Title: Find a window cleaner (Fed Data)
Post by: DASERVICES on March 12, 2007, 05:21:05 pm
I see Anglian Home Improvements have teamed up with the FED in a window cleaner database. Having looked at it there seems to be only major companies listed, I know a few guys who are sole traders in the FED and they are not listed.

Is this a bit biased, I thought the FED looked after all it's members in the same way ???

We all know that the fed has lost members recently, maybe these are all of their members who are left.

Accordingly to the search feature there are only

7 members in Manchester

6 members in Leeds

2 members in Glasgow

7 members in Birmingham

4 members in Bristol

1 member in Cardiff

26 members in London

4 members in Stockport the Feds Headquaters Area

if this is the case then the fed does not represent the majority of window cleaners.

There's two of us in Edinburgh!

Doug, how did you find this, cos there's nothing on Anglian's home page which connects to the find a window cleaner section. You can key in window cleaner in the search box, and get through that way, but nothing else.

If you go on there home page

http://www.anglianhome.co.uk/window_cleaner.htm

click on find a window cleaner , that takes you to another page .
Then click on find me a window cleaner again.
Then you get a search box, put in the area you are looking for then it comes up with the window cleaners listed in that area

If you're all sitting comfortably . . .

This is the home page for Anglian http://www.anglianhome.co.uk/index.html

From there you have to click on Inspire Me, then Latest News, and THEN Find Me A Window Cleaner - that's a bit of a trek. They must send folk the links in their brochures, cos since they re-designed the site, nobody's going to twig that that's the way to get to it.
