Title: shurflo Problem
Post by: A+CleaningService on March 12, 2007, 10:44:35 am

Hi,  I have a problem with my Shurflow pump.  The Pump is about on the same level has the bottom of the water tank.  Yesterday, the water coming out of the pump, started coming out very slowly. Turning the varistream up, only made a little difference. The water just trickles out. I have changed the battery.  Could it be a air blockage causing the water to trickle out. Of a Pump problem?

I would think that you are either pulling in air at a joint on the inlet side of the pump, your filter is blocked, or some dirt has got into the pump valves.

Suggest checking strainer and joints first.

Oh, it was some thing stupid.  A worm had got caught near the inlet filter, just before the pump. Causing the blockage. I like quick fix's :)
