I am aware of public liability insurance with risk treatment, and have that in line.
But is there anything else i need, i remember reading a post on here about a guy who needed some insurance or something, whilst cleaning a office, he wouldn't read any of the information the office had.
what im trying to say is that he wouldn't snoop around..!!
What is this policy, and do i need it.

where are you based my friend? what type of background do you come from? have you checked out an trade bodies yet? as you will find this useful for this type of thing

Ian,never heard of an anti snooping insurance policy m8.
If a client cannot trust you not to go reading masses of boring paperwork,then that client is not worth working for.
Only exception I can think of is the official secrets act and this would only apply to a very few companies such as mod etc.
No insurance policy would be a guarantee that your staff would not be "nosey",most offices are now covered by cctv and if you were to be caught reading material that is sensitive how would you go about claiming on a policy?

I have just put up on my blog an agreement that i had written by a lawyer and cost me £400 to have done. we offer it to any professionals that uses our maid service. we have had teachers that teach kids of my staff, and doctors so as you say its best to protect yourself. as you will be responsible if any thing get released to the newspapers. we also had someone big in entertainment. and i know from contact with other cleaners lots work for these type of clients.

If the office are worried, all you need is something similar to a "Non-disclosure agreement" (NDA)or "confidentiality agreement" which both of you sign.
Basicall, all it says is that you agree not to disclose to anyone any information you may come across on said premesis.

This sounds to me more like Professional Indemnity Insurance, but this isn't really the policy for CCer's. It's for doctors, solicitors, designers and architects etc., to protect them from errors, omissions and accidental intellectual property breaches.
