Just looking on what van and the payload of my van which is
Gross Payload(Kg): 595
do i now work out how heavy my tank would be with it full? and what is left would be the other stuff being carried and myself etc??
I was looking to fit a 400 Ltr tank

the 400ltr tank holds about 360ltrs (volume lost to baffles) so water =360kg, tank weighs 27Kg, add rest of equipment = 40Kg
Total = 427Kg
Fuel = 50Kg
Driver = 100Kg (15stone)
Total = 577Kg, this is with a full load of water and a full tank of fuel.
-
I thought that the pay load was when the van has half full tank of petrol.
-
Well I thought a 400 ltr tank actually held 400 ltrs....silly me :o
If it ain't bad enough some pole suppliers tell "porkies" about length, now I'm told tanks ain't what they are stated.
Anything else not what it 's advertised at?

Thanks JM123
I dont weigh 15 stone ;D lmao
Well that looks ok to me!! it would only be a full tank for a about hour anyway!!
