Title: David Salkeld - How's business?
Post by: Tosh on March 09, 2007, 07:34:12 pm
Hi David,

I was just wondering how you were getting on being a full time window cleaner, since it must've been at least a year now since you left the Fire Service and increased your window work?

How're you getting on with the back pack too?

Any regrets?

I always enjoy Davids comments. I expect the delay will be that he is writing a full report.

You know I was wondering where Dave has been, as he is from Lincolnshire as I am, so I noticed he hasnt been around lately.

He posted on the thread at new year about what you had achieved, and what we hoped to achieve in the coming year. He showed pics of his two omni trolleys. He probably hasn't seen this.

Hi Marcus, Im at Spilsby, and I think Dave is at Louth,

hows things in sunny Spalding? better than Boston I hope the traffic is a nightmare there at the minute, I wonder how our fellow Boston window cleaners are coping with it.

Tosh,

Thanks for the thought's :) :)

Been about a year WFP.  20 yrs full time Window Cleaning in April. The Fire Brigade was part time on an "On Call" basis during the day.  Packed it in August last year - kept getting called off my window cleaning too much.

Doing well thanks - 30% more work than last year!  The backpack is fine, sometimes a pain keep havin to fill it up! But I personaly wouldn't change it.

Yes I'm in Louth...................................
Gotto go fetch my daughter from work

Thanks for thinking of me
