Have cleaned a creamy beige wool carpet – Hessian backing. Full of coffee stains. Most have came out except for a large area where I suspect the coffee has reached jute backing and wicked up. I have tried Prochems Browning Prescription and Coffee Stain remover to no avail. Any ideas – would Oxybrite for example be an option??

Jacko,
This could be cellulostic browning, or may simply be that this particular spillage went down at a temperature sufficient to enable full penetration into the fibre and consequential mixing with the manufacturers' dye, in which case it will be indelible.
For surface staining Oxibrite + Fibrebuff + B105 (using the foam) may diminish the stain but hydrogen peroxide boosted with ammonia would be more effective.
Before embarking on any bleaching procedure, consider that there is a chance that the stain will not lighten but you may produce a halo effect by removing dye from around the stain. The same risk applies to the use of a reagent to reduce.
