Hi guys, which lenth of pole do you guys use to do ground floor work?
Keep hearing bout 6ft or 8ft (2x4 sections) and where is best place to buy small poles?
Or would you recommend building my own? If so any pics and details would be very much apreciated.....
Many thanks

I use a 12ft..3 x 4ft Extender pole...

I use a 6' (2 x 3') Custom built Universal from Gardiner's.

I use a Brodex Predator 18' (3x6') I only need the one pole - it reaches nearly all first floor stuff, including over conservatories etc, but it's light enough to use (closed down!) on ground floors.

Ian ive got the 18' Predator and i tried it for ground work but i find it a bit to long on most of my work and yes it is nice and light... ;D

gardiners mono poles are ideal,

extender 3x4ft - only weighs about 1kg and put gaz's swivel brush on it, nice and short for ground floor but can reach most 1st floor stuff very easily.
would not be without it (thats why I've got 3 of them)
Oh yeah, its cheap as chips too.

I have a 3*4ft extender as well and a 2*2ft. I wouldn't buy the 2*2ft again as it really not that useful but the 3*4ft is brill you can do most ups with it as well.

I have two. I mainly use a 2 x 3 foot pole from Omnipole - though I did remove thew red buffer from around the brush as it marked the frames sometimes. The other brush I have been using is an Ionics 2 x 2ft. Of late this has been demoted to being my van cleaner.
