Ron,

That's not going to be Squeak's cup of tea; sorry for answering for him; he's not after a backpack because of the weight and his shoulder injury.

I'd get on with advertising it in the buy and sell section mate.

God, I feel like I'm with "In" crowd now... ::)

Erm...whatever comes up for peanuts really.
Astramax or Escort I'd guess.

As soon as the money's rolling in (as I hope it will), I'll lease a new one.

Nooooooo!!!!!

No point getting all the hose and pole out if you're going to have to wash and squeegee too.
Definately all wfp, unless it's not possible.

I'll still squeegee my shops, as it's quicker than continually moving the van about.
Besides, I like squeegeeing. :)

Rog.
As you are getting a 400 litre tank, check your payloads carefully.  You might just get away with 400 litres if it's an Escort 75 but with an Escort 55 (which most of them are), you might be pushing your luck a bit.

I'm not going to fill it.
I'll only need 200-odd most of the time, but it allows for expansion, especially if I get a bigger van.

See? I know what I'm doing, ;)

rog good luck to you mate, I hope you take to wfp as well as the rest of us - more money, safer and easier on the old joints.

Spoken like a true veteran of WFP  :)
It may be a bit frustrating on the first cleans (even the ones you have cleaned before with squeegee) as you will need to use a lot of water.  Don't be surprised at having to return to base during the day for refills.  Once you get past the first (and possibly second) cleans, you should be safe to reduce the water flow right down though.

Well done Rog, Welcome to the world of spots and runs.
A wise move mate. That frozen shoulder could have finished you with window cleaning.
I look forward to your first WFP post, and associated problems. DaI

do you have to use a van with wfp setup or could you use an estate? just wondering cos i have an estate and one day i will probably switch from trad to wfp too ;)
if you can use an estate would you have to fold the back seats down??
