Market Stall that sells buttons and zips (haberdashery), wilkinsons (I think), large depatment store John Lewis etc.

You get male and female, black and white. It's got a sticky back that peels off. I use it where i have to secure external tubing on a pole to stop it flapping about.
But it would also do at pinch instead of jubilee clips to secure your bird muck brush. Good thinking PJ, I'm glad to see the pennys finally dropped.

Yes you may...
I'm working out the best place to put a control tap to my pole. I'm not satisfied with it round my waste on a belt as the schrader valves always leak on me, I don't want it on the end of my reel hose trailing along the ground, so I'm messing about with ways of attaching it to the pole in an unobstructive way. The velcro may come in handy just for holding pole hose against the pole out of the way. I've been trying a few methods lately, unsuccessfully so far, or rather, I'm not happy with them so far. I may just stick a load of velcro on the wall and throw myself at it! ;D
