Hi Tony

All I've been told is that it's a standard 3 bed semi.

I wouldn't have thought it was worth travelling to.

It's 10 miles from me and I've declined it based on distance.  I've not seen the property.

I thought it would suit some of the guys based in or near Rushden but no replys so far.

Steve

You declined it because of distance :o 10 miles!!! is that all?

I have to travel that far every day to get to my jobs!

Can you not just stick in a reasonably high price, and now that the nights are starting to stretch, go after tea? Work is work.

Work is work

Totally agree, but I've got enough work with all my regulars.  They are adding conservatory roof and fascia cleans to the job list as well!

you should go for it!

It might not pay to start with but if you put out 50-100 leaflets every time your there you will soon expand and then it will be worth while

Hi C Donohoe

Where abouts in Northampton are you?

I had a few enquiries from there last year and couldn't find anyone interested.

I was called about a job once that was about 15 miles from me, I didnt really need the work but knew another new starter, so I told the woman I would get her a cleaner.

Lo and behold everyone turned it down, so as I had told her I would get her a cleaner I dully did it myself and carded the 2 new estates in that village.

That was 9 months ago, it turned out only one other window cleaner was working the area and he is very rough, I started getting call after call, booked them all in for quotes on a saturday morning and quoted high. From there it has grown and grown, I now work that area 2 days a month (5 hour days) and earn near on 50 pound an hour there with a new customer picked up evey visit.

Take it on - there is a reason they are asking cleaners from further afield.

Have you got a postcode for the job Spotless? if the job is still available. I just want to see how far it is...  And how much would you charge? being around a 30mile round trip, it would cost a little more than a nearby house...

Sorry, I've passed this job on.

Now I know where you're based I'll certainly pass on any future enquiries I get from your area.

Hi Simbo

I emailed you the original enquiry on 1 March but as I didn't receive a reply I posted the details on the forum.  Any other enquiries I get from Rushden I'll pass on.

Hi Chris

Likewise anything I get from Northampton I'll pass your way.

Cheers
