Hi isa

There are many out there but for value for money I use Iris - I particullarly like their payroll very easy to use and has not got the limitations on staff that sage and some of the others have which can be a big problem in this business with people coming and going.

If you order the accounts and payroll together you get a small discount I think it costs £250 plus VAT (but don't quote me on that!)

Go to their web site - you get to download both programs free for a seven day trial to see if you like it, but if you are going to buy over the net make sure you enter all your real company details on the trial package as this will be unlocked for further use, renewable each twelve months.

Hi Isa
We use Sage but agree with fox the payroll limit is a problem. It is also very expensive, As we have made the investment I want be changing for a while but if I was starting again I would go another way.

Cheers

George

Isa,

You may want to have a look at Iris, I use it and think it's great. I believe I paid about £140ish

Hi Alex

Did you pay that for just one of the packages or for both the accounts and payroll together?

Hi Fox,

Just for account, however, you get the payrol on a free demo for a week. I use the inland revenue cd for payroll.
