I don't know what sort Makro do but be aware that there are 3.3 metre and 3.8 metre telescopic ladders. It sounds like the original poster will want the latter. Also, there are weight limits on them. Some have a much larger payload than others. If Makro do the longer, sturdier ones, please excuse me for mentioning it :)

Who are Makro and do they have a website..
Bazz..

Hi Bazz
Makro have their own web site
we have one down in exeter and i bought one of those ladders for my new set up about june last year
the problems i have found are
1 the rubber feet will wear out very quickly and the main part of the foot will go up inside the string
2 after a while the strings start to get stiff and the ladder does not want to slide down easily
3 the clips that hold the the sections in place dont pop out and if you dont notice this when you climb it will collapse down to the next rung , not all the way but enough to put the s..ts up you
and i think it cost me £170 inc vat
hope this helps
Andy :)

There is a Macro in Norwich Bazzy. You would need to set up an account card with them, its like a big wholesalers for the trade, do everything from nuts and bolts, electrical and household goods to big joints of beef!!
