 ;D  hi where can i get info on freedom trolley olso is there any feedback on aqutec trolley    disigned by pete fogg i think .been climbing laddrs to long any info welcome xcept find another job  as this is only one i really enjoy  thanks

sorry alljust trying 2 find out bout trolley systems only know bit bout computers im down in gwent s wales  not sure how to put profile on   but im getting thier quiet ly been win cleaning bout 9 yrs trying 2 make life easyier  tacky

or even use the search facility at the top of this site page, type in freedom trolley or trolley and wait for all posts relating to trolleys.

Where abouts in Gwent are you based ?

There are a lot of fairly local w/c who use various trolleys who frequent this site.  It might be worth putting your exact location as one may offer to do a demo of their system for you.

thanks sarah  im in ebbw vale im mostly ladder work but i think its time 2 try something easyier on legs so i thought id look at some trolley systems or may be small van system  thanks

There's also a backpack system to consider!  I've been using one for 17 months now, and even though I'm looking at going 'van mounted'; I'll still be using the backpack regularly.

It's a good bit of kit and you should be to sort yourself out with everything you require for around 6 or 7 hundred quid.

I'm in Chepstow if you want to have a look!

hi,

I AM STILL VERY NEW TO W/C...

oops.. and i went wfp before xmas using a backpack, now, its fine and a good cheap start up for wfp, but its a bit of a pain using it,

constantly having to fill it, even for the guys with a pump it must be a ball ache,

wandering around a house , not only having to contend with a pole,.... but,.. hose getting caught on everthing that has a sharp end,.... and then lugging 25 litres of water on your back everyday becomes very frustrating and hard on your back, especially leaning back with your pole in the air and that weight on your back... not over heavy , but heavy enough to not being comfortable.

That said its a good way of finding out if wfp is for you. and the cheapest option.

personally i have had enough of messing about , filling it up every couple of houses ... sometimes even twice on a large house.

when it can be far easier , more enjoyable, and less messy just to throw the ladders against the wall and breeze through a couple of windows with ease with my trad tools.

Thats my opinion of the back pack....

For wfp.. i dont think you can beat the van mounted system which i will be upgrading to soon, but i will keep the backpack for the odd ones i cant get the van near.

its just my simple view, having started with trad then used a backpack for wfp.

trolleys may be the answer for most too.

but for me its vanmount or trad.... why mess around and make it hard?.. i have learnt.  ;)
