Title: New Ladder
Post by: xxmattyxx on February 14, 2007, 06:41:32 pm
I currently have a two-stage 3.6m ladder, so it reaches quite comfortably to first floor windows. But, its time to change and upgrade at the same time. My existing ladder is 5-6 years old, too old methinks.

What I want, is a 3 stager, which I can dismantle down so most of the time its just a 2-stager for everyday use, BUT I want to be able to put the third stage back on it on days when I have jobs such as gutters etc. I want it this way as a two stager is obviously easier to handle and carry etc but the third stage gives that extra reach and is safer as saves over stretching on high jobs etc.

Any suggestions/recommendations?

Thanks.

Matt

Exactly what I use.

Nice and light and chuckable, and two days a month I need the third piece for a couple of jobs. :)

The ladder Im looking for seem to come out at £140.00 on the sites suggested I look at, Im sure once I add petrol on to whatever you'd like for the set your selling it'd come out at a lot more than the £140.00 Im likely to fork out.

Try e-bay, Im sure you'll get a decent price there for them, thanks for the offer though, Im sure the distance involved would make it unviable.

Matt  ;)

I got my 3 stage from Titan Ladders, they'll fit big swivelling feet on for a bit extra charge, it was around £150. On mine, you can only seperate the smallest section away, I think with some you can seperate all 3.
