Hi Steve,
I always find www.contracthireandleasing.com good for searching through van deals.
We currently lease a pickup and a new shape transit, to be honest with you I have found leasing to be great. No repair bills etc, and a modern looking fleet.
Three of our 4 year plus vans have been in the garage for various bits and bobs over the last week and I will be looking to update them as soon as possible. Getting fed up with bump starting them up and down the street at six in the morning!
Cheers,
Huw.

Hi Seerclean,

Hi Darren,
We've got a Ford Ranger XLT, looks nice but is a very bumpy ride, we got it for a bargain price of £149 + vat a month, on a two year lease, goes back in December. Only downside is that we're probably going to be slightly over the mileage limit.
Cheers,
Huw.

Yeah Ia m looking at getting one for Flood Restoration work that I do as sick of dragging truckmount with me if I don't need it and the pickups fir the bill quite nicely as also allow me to remove and dispose of rubbish.
Those figures are pretty reasonable I have been getting figures of around £250.00.
What tax and VAT implications did you have on your particular costs and did you have to put a large deposit in.

I had to put the usual three months up front. If you wish to keep the vehicle at the end of the term you can avoid the balloon payment by having a fully paid up lease. The monthly payments are higher but no balloon payment and you get to keep the vehicle at the end by selling it to a "third party" fo a £1 or so.
Cheers,
Huw.

try www.lingscars.com she is on dragons den tonight BBC2 8pm, she has mega deals sometimes but you don't get a lot of choice.
Personally I like VW's we buy them on hp over three 3 years then you know where you are and in three years you own it, and can trade it in because it's out of warrenty, or just keep running till it drops to bits.
First of the new vans still has'nt been services at 20,000 miles and 18 mths old because they have this long life servicing. Mind you the oil is £50 for 5 litres, so thank God I have only used 1 litre so far and that came with the van.

Paul ,
Mine told me it needed a service at 16000 and now just coming up 34000 needs another- T5 2.5 td
