Title: Superlight brush

Has anyone used this and is it any good? I don't mean the weight, but actually cleaning windows? I don't mind a short life span either, I just want to know the effectivness off it..

The majority of the bently brushes are flocked bristles, if you prefer the monofilament (the new Vikan) you could try the Addis or both for that matter. They are both cheap £1.49 and £2.99. I like the way the addis bristles splay and give allowing you to "cut" up to the edge of the frame. They do wear very, very,  well.
They will take you some time to become accustomed to them compared to whatever you are using now. But they are light and the leverage is a lot less at 45 degrees

flocked & monofilament bristles, does one hold dirt more than the other?? if so which one as i rinse brush on.i've just got a new vikan rectangular & noticed it seems to hold dirt more at the end of the bristles.

Hi Tony,i have posted your swivel brush that has monofilament bristles i never have to lift my brushes to rinse,you will see a big difference,

i never lift off to rinse anyway, it probably just looked dirty after its first clean as it was brand new, just got it for mini-pole. its not actually caused me any probs yet its just i remember an old post where someone said that one type of bristle holds dirt more than the other ???

Tony,it is usually the flocked bristles that are more prone to holding dirt as the ends  are slpit to soften them as they were designed for vehicle cleaning so as not to scratch the paintwork,monofilament have more of a better flow rinse as you are cleaning,

Why bother asking Gaz for prices for brushes...in general I have found that he cannot be botherd to even provide details of postage...I waited a month, I have since emailed him to say don't bother....The lack of service was beyond belief.

Dave,i am very sorry you feel this way,but believe me or not i have been having computer problems beyond belief most of my emails have not got through i have been taring my hair out trying to sort it,i have just tried to post this reply and it has taken me 8 attempts and my computer keeps crashing,
