hi people

how often do you have to change your resin, it gets pretty expensive sometimes when using my tucker pole system and 2 d i bottles
sometimes a change is needed twice weekly, any cheaper options available????

Hi Aztec.

I run a Tucker van mount. I live in a hard water area so i have a 650ltr stactic with RO MAN 300gpd. My whole ro set up including transfer pump & hose was £619.05 from Gardiners, 01726 61143, that was on 18 May last year. I'm still getting 000ppm on original di after 15 months, the first few months a mate let me fill up till i was sorted.

when your water tds starts to read above 001 take the di vessels out of the van, put a stop connector on each end & give them a good shake, turning them upside down as you go. do this for about a minute or two to really mix the resin up inside, then let them settle for a short while, run a few litres of water through & you'll be back to tds 000 again. ;)
