Title: car valeting vacume need advise
Post by: Mr shiner on February 10, 2007, 08:17:44 pm
Hi i am still trying to get all my gear to start mobile valeting. I have the chance to buy a henry and numatic 370 for a good price but would these do the job.I know the 570 numatic was recomended but all i can afford is a second hand model. So do i buy the henry and the numatic which are brand new or a second hand numatic 570 and a second hand henry.Thats if the henry is suitable what would you recomend .Thing is i need to act quickly on this so any advice would be great thankyou.

I have all 3 machines which I carry at all times in the van whilst valeting. I mainly use the numatic for all the hoover and the wet work. Henrys are reasonably good but when push comes to shove so is the numatic so the henry rarely gets used, the 370 gets used the most mainly due to the generator output which is only 4kva, only my oppinion, I rarely buy new gear now and have purchased a fair bit from e-bay.  Pays your money takes your chance if the second hand gear is working okay why pay inflated prices plus vat.

The generator i was buying was a 2.8 kva so ill be struggeling i guess it will have to be the smaller models would you say a henry is better than a dyson for the job cheers.

Dyson has officially replaced the VAX as being the single most disposed of electrical item at rubbish dumps across the UK.

Or so I hear  ;)

The best option is a george , plenty of vacuum plus you have wet cleaning aswell coupled with some good prochem extraction cleaning solution; you can deep clean the upholstery for a higher price.Any more advice email me at steve@polarcleanitall.com.

Although i can't reccomend a good vacuum for valeting.  Please don't buy a dyson!!  They just fall to bits several of my customers have them and they are awful.
