I am just about to design a new leaflet, what is your opinion on having Domestic on one side & Commercial on the other or do you think I should keep it seperate.
Many thanks
James
-
what are you going to do with the leaflet? post it through domestic letterboxes?
if so I'd make the leaflet mostly aimed at that market with just a small mention that you also do industrial & commercial work.

It seems showing that u are local has a really big impact on people these days as well as using your own name and like mike says poss a photo, it all helps people relate to you as a real person as oppossed to a faceless big company.
Many people who have phoned us in the past, like to know where we live :o, as if it gives them a bit more confidence in u.

steve your dead right, people like to see who they are dealing with.
pity all these people who have websites don't realise this ::)
I think there's only doug who has a picture of himself on his site( even if it is a ugly one ;) )

Mike

Hey Mike -the missus is'nt THAT ugly!

As you say with people liking somone local i often find that is the only reason somone has chosen me to clean there carpets.
Quoted for a lady two roads away from me to clean her lounge my quote was £58 she then pulls out a leaflet offering a lounge cleaned for £15 :o.
I told her that is my quote and asked how could this other company really only charge her £15 when they are based almost 90 miles away. I don't think so!
She phoned back later that day and booked.
I don't have a picture of me on my website but now I've had a hair cut today I think i'l get the camara out and stick my mug shot on there. 8)

Its sign of a religion we call Christianity over here in England. Unlike you Welsh we gave up our Pagen sacrificing and sunworshiping ways about a 1300 years ago.

Paul it is the sign of an Ichthys a symbol of Christianity. This link will tell you about it.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ichthys
I am a Christian and like to use the symbol.

Just a little joke from my Merchant Navy days (Some folks reckoned that "not straight " meant you liked women)! But that's another story and a LONG time ago!

:-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\
You can keep that one to yourself Jacko ;D

I see those fish signs quite a bit. Why the fish sign to represent Christianity? Is it because of the last supper and all that?

Jesus was a fisher of men.
