I am making the move to get a wfp (after 12 years).
What would you guys say the best wfp is and what are the ones that are a piece of junk?

Depends on your view really. They all do the same job by pumping pure water up a pole and brush to clean the windows though whether it's a top notch all singing machine from a big supplier or whether it's something you cobble together yourself.
My personal preference (only out of the systems I've actually seen) is the Omnipole equipment because I find it easier to self maintain. Also, my location is a help because, for me, they are the easiest place to visit.
Others may give you different answers as we can only speak (write?) as we find.

CFP, wfp is like most pieces of equipment and most tools, and in the wrong hands the most expensive equipment will still do a crap job, and in the hands of somebody that knows what theyre doing and how to use it even the cheapest of system will do a very good job.
At the end of the day its just water going up a pole and through a brush, just buy wiseley and what your pocket can afford and think about what you need on your type of work.
Would a trolley set up be more use to you than a van mount? or would a backpack set up be ok.
I started with a van mount then got rid of that because it didnt suit my work and purchased a trolley system, and neither did that, so now all we use are backpacks as these are what suits our work.
Either way i would never go back to my ladders as its enabled us to do work that we could never have done and at the same time made us earn lots more moey.

My second answer to you is that maybe you need to ask this question on an American based forum as you seem to be based in the USA. :) .

it don't matter wether you go the diy route or buy from a supplier, as long as you have a decent pole, brush, pump and use pure water then you should be okay.
if you go the diy route i would suggest that you buy the best that you can afford.
