Rock salt/floor squeegee/spray bottle containing alcohol based solution.  Not all of them at same place of course but these are the variations that I use.

Havent you heard there are now hot water systems to do the windows with, apparently some think it keeps the floor warm as well  ::) ;D

But seriously this is a problem that we will come accross with wfp i havent had any problems as yet, i like what the shiner suggested the alchohol spray bottle but dont fancy the rock salt.  I dont think my customers would like the mess >:(

regards

Brett

I think I should have made it a bit clearer.  Brett, you're not supposed to drink the stuff.  ;D

thats no good to me if you cant drink it ;D, i only ever use alchohol to drink and use salt on my chips

your ideas are good this winter has been quite mild really by this time last year i had jets and brush head frozen up but not yet, ofcourse depending where you are in the country.
When you look at wfp with the teething problems you get over them then some of us encounter the droughts and then the winter but thats the nature of our job

So if anyone uses a hot system or not they are still going to come accross frozen floors so yes ideally weve got to come up with something thats easy and practical

all the best

Brett

we use granular salt (25kg bag £40) its just like thousands of little pellets of salt, very cheap and very good.
