I have one of those upright resin containers that look a bit like a fire extinguisher. It is used to polish the RO water as it comes out of the van. Yesterday I noticed whilst rinsing there were hundreds of little bits of resin coming out with the water. I have flushed the hose out with high preasure tap water and have re-connected the pure water via the same DI container and then cleaned my own house with no problems.
I changed the resin about 2 months ago and it is still cleaning the water from 20 PPM to 0 PPM.
Has anyone had a similar problem?
Thanks

You can buy a small inline filter, which goes after the di but before the pump. you can get them from the usual places eg Gardiners etc..

Yes, you may need a filter.
Also make sure you don't fill the resin vessel too high, as it expands with water obviously. It depends what size cylinder you have though.

Its probably a problem with the riser tube in your DI vessel. I've had this before. The tube came away from the head of the vessel. Check it out and make sure it's well seated in the slot fot it.

Thanks
I'll have a look at the riser tube in the morning.

also check to see if you've got the in/out the right way round. i bought a vessel from cleantech once & it had no indications on the top which way the flow shud go. fortunatley i know which way it shud go, but if its the wrong way then you'll get the resin coming through. ;)
