correct.
you should've got one ages ago! ;D

Seriously though, what are you reading your TDS from?
What RO do you filter from?
What is your mains in pressure?
What is your tap TDS?

my mains pres is only 30 psi
my tp TDS is 240
the Ro is from freedom 5 stage RO/DI unit
does this help.

There's your problem
Mains pressure too low, I would say.
Booster will solve it, but renew pre-filters, if you can.

From what i have read on RO's the pressure is a key part of the filtering process so your RO will be working more efficiently now.

if it was coming out your RO at 001 before, why did you feel the need to get a booster pump? Putting your water through DI before the brush head will make it 000 and the resin will last for ages if it is only filtering 001 TDS.

That's a point Steve i never noticed that.

If that's the reading after the RO then the DI will take it down to 000.

Has the RO got a DI on it aswell?

I was assuming that before you got booster pump, TDS was higher out of RO.  If it was still coming out at 000  from 30 psi, no need to change, just boost!

oh...so you are asking about the benefits of a booster pump in relation to the speed of water production...? You have confused us all as it appeared that you were thrilled that a booster pump had reduced your TDS by 1 part...001 down to 000TDS...yes, a booster pump would speed up water production. ;)
