Title: Pressure Washing Prices
Post by: craig jwc on February 07, 2007, 05:49:55 pm
Just bought myself a Pressure Washer for cleaning the Gutters using a Telescopic pole.

Just wanted to know how people priced Pressure Washing Patio's & Decking.

Do you price by the square metre?

Craig

I price by sq metre, because i started off giving a price I thought I'd get or was fair just to get the work and a start to get me noticed. The problem was when being asked to quote for a referal job and I said say for example £95 the customer said Oh  mrs smiths seemed bigger than mine and she only paid you £85. So I decided to be more proffessional, granted after an ear bashing by my sons, and price per sq metre to get a baseline to work from, then adjust as req IE surface type, access, drainage etc;

I have a minimum price for the smaller jobs and then a per sq/m price which seems to work ok

Square metre pricing is the only way to go Craig.
You'll need to work out a price per surface, once you have done that, then it will all become clear.
