I'm interested to know. I have been w/c for 20 years now. There have been times when I have had my wife, and 2 sons working with me, even my daughter!
All kids have flown the nest and I'm a grandad now.
I have had a few other lads work short periods with me, but it's me and my wife now. I feel I've been there and back if you know what I mean.
How about you?

Its just me most of the time but on the bigger jobs my wife too especially the inside ones the temperature is more suited to her if you know what I mean

Thanks for reply my fellow countyman. ;)
I think that most work on their own, otherwise I would have had loads of replies.
Funny what makes a response.

I now work alone thanks to wfp after years of employing waste of spaces, the amount of work i pick up i end up selling some off every year my business could be huge if i could get the right people to employ. I find it stress free just working on my own i start what time i want and finish what time i want ive got no employee letting me down, dictating to me maybe i will employ again in the future but for the time being my business is big enough for me.
I keep my prices high and choose my work 8)

I work alone but have occasionally worked along with someone else for a larger job. I don't suppose I will be teaming up with anyone now that I use WFP. Maybe if I get some very high work and need help with the pole.

I work alone I had others work for me through PAYE what a nightmare that was. You have to follow all the guidelines for employee safety etc and once you built it up when they want 2 weeks holiday you cant keep up.So am now on my own come and go as i please and do enough work to keep me happy.

i did try to employ one or two years ago but nobody worked more than coupleof weeks so iam on my own now and i tink thats the best way

Hi guys, I started again with window cleaning last year, and wondered why I ever left this wonderful job !. Ive been going now for a year and a half, I have one full time employee, his very good, its the way you train them and treat them I surpose. I got lucky with work, picked up some great contract work that pays very well, I got in this space of time £3500 bread and butter work if you know what I mean, but the contract work well bumps that up every month. All thanks to google really !! well worth advertizing business to business. Good luck in this cold weather !!
