Hi Chris, what pressure washer do you use, the one in the pic that you posted? I bought that lance ect for gutter cleaning but my old washer has seen better days so looking to get a new one. Also is yours powerfull enough for driveways, paths ect??

Does it all plenty of power for paths & driveways etc also has chemical inlet for adding detergent

overall good machine for a reasonable price

I also bought a wheel kit for it but you dont really need it, its quite light to carry in & out of the van

Just bought my 24 foot gutter lance & tried it out as i finished early today.

Tried it on my own house and was surprised how little mess it made down the walls.
I did need to rinse the walls down after, but the house looked so much better after.

As i can't turn the pressure down on my washer i found that as soon as you pulled the trigger it whipped the top of the pole quite hard and found it some getting used too.

Does any one using these find the harnace helps at all?

In all it took me about 1 hour and 30 mins to do the guttering, wash all my walls down (including the gable end), clean the windows and then clean up with the pressure washer.

I find that they whip when you release the preasure also but you do get used to it and yes the harness does help but i find only for longer jobs as it does get tiresome and on short jobs its more of a hinderance

with a lot of gutters you are better using the pole with an open end that is no jet nozzle in, this way it doesnt leave a mess and the water flow is sufficient to clear the gutters .

I looked at the Northern Tools pressure washer as Varitech who i use, uses them as a supplier.
Varitech phoned them and was told they are only good for about an hours work at a time.
If you only want it for guttering i suppose they should be ok.

I would have got one but need a washer quick so couldn't wait for them too deliver.


Chris will be able to answer better as he's using one.

I use mine for 3/4 hrs no probs at all , I do change the oil completely every 25hrs or so though doesn't seem to get too hot whilst running either
