Title: scale buildup on old baths
Post by: mikep on February 05, 2007, 08:10:53 pm
Hi
trying to pick a few more knowledgeable brains than mine.
One of our regular clients has an elderly coloured bathroom suite(plastic bath),there is a build up of lime scale on bath, basin and bath.
will trying to get rid of the scale have any effect on the colour-especially the plastic bath?

get a bottle of high phos from evans vanodine (its toilet cleaner)
apply to the scale
leave ten mins
aggitate and leave for a bit longer
scrub it of with a green pad, should come off fine, i`ve never known Hi-Phos to do any damage to plastic.

wear gloves and mind your eyes cos it`s evil :D :o

careful with it if you use it on stainless steel, make sure you rinse it all off or it goes green and eats into the metal ::)
