There is no copyright in a name, title, slogan or phrase. But these may be eligible for registration as a trade mark, or a common-law action to prevent passing-off may give protection for unregistered trade marks. However, logos may be protected under copyright.

As far as I know "Reach & Wash" and all the logos: ionic, reach & wash (blue) thermo pure(red) Pro7(green) are all registered trademarks of ionic

ionic rep came to give me a demonstration of his reach and wash he saw that we had reach and wash on the van and our system is from aps so he told me that this was copyright, but if i bought a system or just a pole he would let me keep it on  so i went and changed the signs on the vans which now read     stretch and wash system this works great for us still wont buy anything off ionics , aps systems after 3 years still working ok no problems.

I asked for a logo when i got 2 poles from them and they told me i would have to buy the complete system to get the logo! You would think they might like the advertising not to mention the fact that with all the threats of legal action etc how many future potential customers they have almost certainly lost, from this site alone.
