Title: Suitable air compressor for rugs
Post by: Mike Osbourne on February 05, 2007, 02:05:52 pm

Can anybody recommend an air compressor to remove dry soil from rugs?

I've decided to get one but on investigation they range hugely in price and not sure whether a cheap (£100) jobbie will be up to the job.

I know the cheaper ones can be noisy, but this isn't an issue and I will probably only need it a couple of times a week. However for instance I have a 8x6 to do and I don't want to spend all day blasting it.

Cheers

Mike

How do you intend to use it?

we did speak about it last year, but to force that volume of air into a rug and keep the air volume going you are going to need more than a £100 compressor, probably 10 x that amount.
