Title: face paint on carpet
Post by: julieg on July 29, 2004, 09:27:18 pm
Hi

I run my own cleaning business and a client has asked whether we could remove face paint which her child spilt on the carpet about a month ago. Can anyone suggest anything. I have got the vanish and power carpet cleaner, but don't want to make matters worse.

Thanks

Julie

Hi

I feel it depends wether it is either an oil or water based face paint.

Ask the client or ask to see the pot/product in question.
water based should wash out, with oil based you will need something to break down the oil and extract out

Julie

Follow martin’s advice but quantify to the customer no guaranty in removal, as some are a dye, also has the customer tried any thing like vanish or a 1001?
