Was just seeing who was on line and I noticed Ed Valentine of Cross America.
What I noticed besides how much cheaper machines are in the States.
That there is a drop in immersion heater to heat water.
I have never seen one being sold by a British machine supplier although i have considered buying one from B and Q to give heat exchanger a boast in rentals etc
Has anyone done this?

Why bother, just feed your hot water from the inline back into the tank for ten minutes. This will heat the tank enough to give a boost. It would take the same time with an emersion anyway.

Jphn,
I know what you are saying but a lot of machines have dual heating, I think the machine Paul Moss was sellong recentley had dual heat exchanges.
I was wondering if it would be quicker .

Usualy this type of heater is for the use of putting in the next bucket of water ready to be used. So while you are cleaning it is warming up. They arent that fast in heating up a bucket but you cant wand faster than it takes to heat up. Best, Dave.
