If you were buying new poles what would be your best choice of 3 sizes and make.
And why?

Domestic use
12ft Extender. Light and cheap, use on 65% of windows
21ft Custom Universal - perfect height for most other high domestic, 25% use.
45ft Super-Lite pole for everything above the other poles reach, 10% use
Commercial use
12ft Extender. Light and cheap, use on 20% of windows
21ft Custom Universal - perfect height for most other high domestic 10% use
45ft Super-Lite pole for everything above the other poles reach. 70% use
This is my current set-up and is my 'cost no object' choice.

Are they your stock, Alex?

Yes!
But only because we have one of the widest range of poles in stock in the UK.
The above selection would be my choice regardless of whether we supplied or not. WFP'ing is so much easier now with the above choice of poles than it was when I first started 6 years ago. Back then I started off with a 12ft universal Omnipole (2x6ft), a 30ft (6x5ft custom) Omnipole and a 45ft Carbon-Fibre (1x7ft, 4x8ft, 1x7ft) Universal Omnipole. Whilst I never regret buying them, as it got me started, I soon realised what hard work it was (although my upper body strength improved!).
These days it barely feels like I'm working compared with the old days of WFP'ing. I never get any back ache now and rarely do my arms feel any strain.
There is such a good choice of poles available to the WFP'er in the UK nowadays.

We tend to use a 24' gardiner for everyday use along with a short 6' bodge job for low work
Got a 60' Brodex CF which is too flexible, but does the job
Just bought a 48' Powerpole from Steve Kinsella and the lads are really liking that, little bit heavier than the Gardiner, but very little flex
