Title: What was your biggest tip?
Post by: C.F.P on February 03, 2007, 05:30:46 pm
I got $50 US from a homeowner last year. I have had a couple give me $20 dollar bills along with a check.

I love that feeling of knowing that I  did a great job.... of course I look pretty good in a tight fitted faded pair of Levi's  ;D

I did a £20 house just before xmas and they phoned me saying they were sorry they forgot to leave me a tip...Obviously i said no problem don't worry. Went back this week to do their windows and they gave me a £20.00 tip. What nice people!!!!

25 quid. They said 'there's a bit more for christmas' but i didn't look at the cheque. When I looked at home I was surprised. I usually just get a 'keep the change'! It was onle a 12 pound house! Got 37.

My best one was a tenner.  The job is only £11 so I reckon that was pretty generous.

Like to see them try. ;D

You're allowed up to £2000 in personal gifts a year.
If a customer who's also become a friend wants to buy you a drink at Xmas that's a gift from them, not work money.

If you give tips to the taxman you're a mug! ;D
