Title: Soy Sauce
Post by: JS2 on February 02, 2007, 06:44:55 pm
Friends

After having a shave yesterday morning the wife (bless her) cooly informed me that she'd just knocked a bottle of SOY SAUCE off the table (and I mean a big bottle of the strong, dark variety).  Well, I hope it's not gonna be to late to tackle the rather big, brown stain on the polyprop carpet tomorrow.  Any hints would be much appreciated (I've not done soy sauce stains before!!)

Regards

Should not be a problem on polyprop, use prochem ultra pac renovate, good agitation then rinse away ;)

Rub some chow mein on it, it should soak up the flavour

My oriental girlfriend ' Splint Link' dumped me because in the restaurant I ordered her 'cream of someyoungkid' - I thought it was a soup!!

Hi All

A good sense of humour on here, why not !! ;D ;D

Anyhow, I'll be getting the machine out tomorrow to give the carpet a good bit of treatment.  Wish I could have started on it today .  However I've got some Prochem Multi Pro (I missed the 12 o'clock Saturday shutting time of the local cleaning supplies shop, so I couldn't get any Ultrapac Renovate), so I'll give it a pre-spray with this and follow up with Fibre and Fabric rinse, unless anyone thinks this isn't advisable.

Cheers

Ho Ho Ho, What was the question again?
Oh Aye. If that's what you've got , just go for it.
You wont do no harm.

You wont need an acidic rinse on polyprop Just use the Ulta pac and give it about 5 mins dwell time  ;)

Paul

Thanks, this is worth knowing.  I'll get some of the Ultrapac tomorrow and get working on it.

Cheers
