My average day begins at the first house at about 10am usually and I am home most days about 2.30pm and I consider myself full time...I`m usually pretty knackered anyway. I do a lot of work in those hours.
Sometimes, I drop my son off at school at 8.30am and go straight to the first house if I am in the area starting about 8.45am and it feels pretty good to be out at that time...but generally I must be a part timer!!
I find in the summer that I get a second wind about 3pm and happily stay out till 5-6pm.
What hours do you all work?
-
i usually start my first window at about 9:30 and finish my lst one about 3:30 with half an hour for lunch.
So i work about 5 and a half hours a day. Its alright for us window cleaner eh?
-
yes...there is a limit to how long I can stay enthusiastic working on my own looking up all day so once I have reached or got pretty close to my daily target...I generally call it a day.
If I worked 7/8 hours a day..I really think I would be pretty wealthy!

i have someone else work with me, it keeps me out longer.
When i was on my own, i used to come home about 2!!
I found getting someone else to work with me has helped me a lot. Now I have no problem whatsoever with staying out all day.

I do 7am till 2pm. That,s enough for me. my wife thinks I am part time cos in the summer I am in the garden getting a tan with a beer when she comes home at around 6pm.
It's a hard life. ;D ;D ;D ;D

yes, I have found I have really worked the hours when I have had someone with me but after 3 attempts at finding someone with the same work ethic and standards as me have failed, I am back on my own.

Recently I've been starting between 8:30am - 9am and finishing at around 4:30pm.

It varies a lot for me. I have been known to start a non residential job at 6 AM in the Summer to get as much done before things heat up too much. This time of year it's generally anything between 8.30 or 9.30 until 4.00 or 4.30. This can change though. Some jobs need to be done when there are no cars parked beneath windows or before the shopkeeper puts all his fruit and veg out in front of the shop. Depends what jobs I've got on really.

lucky you we start at 7.30 & finish when its dark in winter & 5pm in summer usually manage to get 9 hrs a day in, sometimes start at 7 in summer, the harder i work now the sooner the mortgage is paid the sooner i retire,

Do 'Build Cleans' - job and finish!
Sometimes takes 3 hours. sometimes 8! xxit happens!
In general, get on site just in time for T-break (10 am) and long gone before the rest!
We love our job!

i like money lol, so do at least 40 hrs per week, but dont work weekends,
i have expensive hobbies & invest in houses for my retirement,
so think if i wrok hard now it'l pay off soon.
then i to can think about less hours, maybe !

I'm up at 5am every day, 6am start and all day doing commercial (shops, pubs etc) on a Monday, home for an extended lunch at 1pm and back out at 4pm to do a couple of shops I have to do at the end of the day.
Rest of the week its a few commercial accounts and then on to domestic stuff, the commercial stuff ensures I'm up and about nice and early, usually finish around 3 or 4 in the afternoon.
currently earning more than I've ever earned before...seems I have finally got the ballance just right ;D
