The program is better for entering payments (you set it up as to whether you received cash, cheque, standing order, BACs, etc, so better for tracking types of payment than George. Only real problem is the printed worklist has text that is far too small to read easily in poor light. It's also better for printing custom invoices and receipts.

Hi Andy,

WCP does not currently run on handhelds but Im working (slowly but working) on getting WCP light ready. I am fairly confident that the desktop version is quite stable and am gathering requirements for the next phase since trevor has provided me with some excellent ideas to take it to the next level.

Ian

Can i have another free trial of your programme , I didnt really have much time to look at it.

I am seriously considering changing over from George, as the promised updates are not very forthcoming.

Ian, thank you for replying to my post, I have been using the free trial programme & does look good, as of Monday I am reworking my round to make it more profitable and really did wont the pocket PC to go with this so I am going to stick with George for now, if you had the set up for this then I would have gone with WCP

David he is the link to down load the free trial programme

George will only work on Palm, I think on the george website it tells you what the minimum o/s is. Having said that I have a palm pc that George runs on but I cant be bothered to use it I just prefer to print a worklist tick what I have done and update when I'm on my pc.

I always use the Palm version, I could not do without it these days because I also use the palm for calculating the cost of cleaning any paticular house with a palm version excel spreadsheet calculator

My palm also has a camera which is handy for taking pics of things to estimate quotes on later at home
