Hi Guys
I am usually on the carpet and cleaning forums on this site but I have just been asked to clean the windows of a huge house (bungalow type) it has a conservatory with concertina windowed doors, about 35 of them, plus windows at the front and back of the property, also they will soon be extending upwards. Also windows on top of the conservatory (smallish size)
Simple question gents...
How much on a monthly basis?
The owners are also property developers so the spin off from this is potentially good. I have already done a flat clean + carpets for them but not windows and this is their personal property.
Please guys any help at all concerning price and equipment to be best used would be most helpful.

How long do you think it'll take? I know this is an awkward question when you're probably unsure.
A lot of window cleaners will tell you some formula they have such as 75p per window plus a pound (or more for the difficulty level). They'll say double or treble this for Georgian or leaded windows. It doesn't work for me.
Try and estimate how long it'll take. I try to work at £20.00 per hour - so for me - if I reckon it'll take two hours, I'd charge £40.00.
As the months roll by, you'll find you'll be cleaning the same property in half the time. Don't drop the price! It is a business after all.

I would charge more than £40, but thats me. If that was a customer of mine i would be looking for £60 min even £80 per clean. But then i clean FRAMES all the time.

yes i agree with chepstow and Justin charge for you time, probley not easy not being a full time window cleaner, so will take you longer than normal, it does seem a lot of windows but if a bungalow type than most are on the ground, than work on how much you wont a hour than work out how long it would take per window and go from there.
