we use Unger microfiber and find them fantastic so my local shop has stopped all
Unger stuff, now they only supply Ettorre gear. Now the blue microfiber cloths are absolute crap they leave all kinds of fibers behind and streaks thus a rubbish job where the Unger cloths are much better IMO
There are some Contico blue cloths on EBay has anyone got any of these and are they any good or just as crap as the Ettorre ones
If not I`ll get some at the show in March but your opinions are greatly received
maybe its just us doing it wrong , we use the cloths dry. We`ve been using scrims for 25 years so i thought i would give the microfibers a go at first the Unger ones were mega and still are but we are having problems with the blue Ettorre ones so much so that they`ll be in the bin by the weekend >:( >:( >:(

Yes I'm in the process of making a DIY WFP out of telescopic poles etc so i'll use one of the hose tails in that hope! ;D ;D
BTW: Hey if it's free and worth having take it, is my motto! ;D

contico are crap, they are the wierdest cloths i've ever used, they're like paper, as thin as paper too. i ordered 1 from stream to try along with other stuff, when i looked at it i thought they were avin a laugh, total rubbish.
by coincidence i used a brand new unger one today, left millions of fibres all over the window, had to throw it back in the van & get an old cleantech one out. i'm assuming they need to be washed first. will wash them & try again.

washed them & tried again today, it did the trick, they're great now.
BTW, when clothing windows using microfibre what do you guys find best as a detergent to wet the glass with first, or do you just use plain water???
