Thank you John/Steve who needs Thompsons or yellow pages when you have a forum like this.
All I need to do now is talk Paul  Moss into buying a new tank any thoughts ::)

Paul I was thinking more along the lines of a 250ltr  flat tank and using a metal frame to mount the machine on top of the tank. Freeing up more room in your van! Cost wise for the tank of £115 looks good to me

Prices are plus vat. The ali one is square and not such a good space saver.

Thanks for that John I had already gathered its all + vat. I like the thought of plastic saves it oxidizing with the water and there is no need of a sight gauge when using plastic.

This vans a bit of an old banger, but you can see the plastic water tank is supported by a metal frame.

Chris

Yes you are right old! Banger getting there!  Want a new one only trouble wife wont let me buy one! >:( She got one and gets upset when I use it to go down the local dump. ???

By the way it’s not plastic it’s fibreglass and baffled (bespoke cost £400 :o all them years ago, were was the forums) and it doesn’t have a sight glass but it dose have a drain tap ;D, if I were too doing it again would go down the road of MDP a lot lighter. Frame angle iron wielded by me then power coated by me, like keeping the cost down!

Lads keep an eye out what you put in your van a lot of weight bridges about and fines, also distribution of weight low centre of gravity is good, mine handles like a Bentley GTC. :-*
